David, a young Jewish man in the middle class – corpulent, homosexual and fear of flying – returns to Buenos Aires D’E European for the funeral of his uncle. After returning, David learns that his mother decided to disconnect her father’s support, the only thing that kept him alive for years. David will oscillate between life in nearby districts with his mother, alienated by the pain of immediate loss of her husband and the inability to fulfill her existential anxiety, occupies her clock when she learns to ride, finding a low medical treatment and trying to have sex with every man showing him a little attention.
